HMV / Warner wanted to celebrate the launch of the new Matrix Trilogy HD DVD in their Oxford Street store with appropriate excitement. So we combined a viral email announcing that the first 150 purchasers would also get a free HD DVD player, along with some guerrilla projection of that message and the famous falling green code onto the facade of HMV all the previous evening. In the morning 2,500 people were queuing around the block and being entertained by Matrix lookalikes.
