Crossing Paths

Travelling back from Milton Keynes last week, I was struck by the many benefits of networking.  I’d just attended July’s MK City Breakfast, held at the Hilton DoubleTree at The Stadium:MK, where I network monthly with likeminded business people, exchanging ideas and listening to inspirational guests.

Most small to medium sized businesses nowadays are familiar with the concept of networking as a way of promoting their business to a new audience, perhaps in a different location to where they’re based, looking for synergies and aiming to develop relationships.  Over time this goes further and they feel happy to work alongside members and refer with confidence.

But for me it’s more than that.  I enjoy the company of these people and now have many close personal friends as a result of networking.  I was a member of WIBN in Berkhamsted for many years and although only a relative newbie to both MK City and Midsummer Breakfasts, look forward to developing similar relationships and achieving the same level of success.

The Milton Keynes City Breakfast Club meets at 7:30am on the first Wednesday of the month at the Hilton DoubleTree at The Stadium:MK.  Click here for more details or, if you’d like to visit, drop an email to me at amanda@yellowyoyo.co.uk and I’ll ask my sponsor to invite you.

I look forward to our networking paths crossing soon!
